Mikroak Ltd. which is known as manufacturer of electromechanical components used for consumer electronics, industrial electronics and automotive applications, has been established in 1992 as a joint-venture company between the Bulgarian semiconductor concern "Microelectronica A.S." and the majority share holder Turkish company "Aksan Kalip San ve Tic A.S.".
By the end of 1997, Aksan has bought the rest of the shares from "Microelectronica A.S.", thus Mikroak Ltd. has become 100% Aksan ownership.
Mikroak Ltd. is a company which not only produces plastic and metal parts and assembles those but also designes and produces the necessary plastics molds, stamping tools and automated assembly lines in house. Therefore, it has been degree of flexibility during all these stages of design and production in order to respond to the whims of the customer such as design changes, material changes etc. Our flexibility is combined with fast response, high quality and very significant cost effectiveness advantages.
The company currently operates in a 3000 sqm closed premises on 8000 sqm site, all of which is company owned. The site is in Botevgrad, which lies 40 km north-east of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Mikroak Ltd. is ISO 9001 certified since 2001. In November 2009 the company reached the standard ISO/TS 16949:2009.
"Aksan Kalip San ve Tic A.S." is a private company, founded in Istanbul-Turkey in 1977 to serve as a semi-assembled parts supplier for the TV-appliance producing industries. The main group of products includes various heat sinks, tuner frames and covers, connectors, sockets and all kinds of single and/or assembled sheet metal parts like LCD frames and set-top-box housings/cases. The production is realized both for short series with CNC machines + soft tools and long series with high speed presses + complicated stamping tools.
